Old Norse: Mjölnir
Mjölnir is the hammer of Thor, the Norse god known as the protector of mankind. Mjölnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most fearsome and powerful weapons in existence, capable of leveling mountains.
 
Inspired by Thor's holmgangr with the flint giant Hrungnir and the iron Hammers wore by the Vikings that could also be used as flint and steel. These Norse amulets were formally blessed in the service of Thor in a Norse heathen ceremony. Each Mjolnir is made from a High Carbon pattern welded blade steel, and will develop surface oxidation, which will progress into a unique and beautiful patina or can be cleaned just as you would clean any high carbon steel knife blade.   Each hammer is unique and one of a kind and will vary with pattern and intensity on each piece. Comes on a paracord lanyard with a Ferro Toggle. Will strike on flint and/or ferro rods. 1-3/4 x 1-3/8 Weight-1oz. This is not only a great piece of jewelry but also a functional survival tool.
